In order to update the hourly rates for the pack labor based on the crew size, you will need to navigate to the following:

Manage > Estimate Settings > Main Estimate Settings

On the Main Estimate Settings page, you would next click on the Labor Price Estimate tab (PURPLE).

Once clicked, you will see the page below:

People (Purple): This column shows the crew sizes that you have listed and each row will list their associated hourly rates for both moving and packing.

Pack Per Hour (Blue): This is where you can list your pack labor hourly rates for each individual crew size.

Days (Brown): This is where you can control the days that certain pricing affects a crew size. This allows you have different pricing for the same crew size between the week and weekends, for example. (Note: this will require you to make duplicate crew sizes to get the full functionality of this feature.)

Action (Yellow): Anytime you make changes to the People, Price Per Hour, Base Price, or Pack Per Hour fields you will want to select the green Update button inside of this box. If you do not want to have a price for any particular crew size you can use the trashcan to delete that specific crew size from the list of rates.

Select Branches (Green): This allows you to swap between the branches in your system, giving you the ability to modify the pricing for each one.

Once you have updated your Pack Per Hour prices, you can add pricing/time according to the materials used. Navigate to the following:

Manage > Estimate Settings > Packing Materials

Inside Packing Materials, you will see the page below:

Flat Pack (Purple): This is the flat rate cost (in your country's currency) for packing each one of the associated packing material.

Flat Unpack (Blue): This is the flat rate cost (in your country's currency) for unpacking each one of the associated packing material.

Pack Time (Red): This is the default amount of time (in minutes) it takes one man to pack one box. The system will use this time & the total number of boxes to calculate the packing hours on the estimate, which will then be divided by the number of men being sent on the pack job.

Unpack Time (Orange): This is the default amount of time (in minutes) it takes one man to unpack one box. The system will use this time & the total number of boxes to further calculate the packing hours on the estimate (in cases where you both packing and unpacking), which will be divided by the number of men being sent on the pack job.

Action (Yellow): Anytime you make changes you will need to select the green update button inside of this box.

Once you have updated all of your settings, the pack labor feature can be utilized. To begin, You will need to navigate to Step 4 on the estimate (highlighted in Purple).

Note: You will need to put packing materials on either Step 2 or 3, in order to use Step 4.

No Packing Required (Blue): This option will be selected by default for all estimates, as not all estimates will require packing services. (Of course, if you're not providing packing/unpacking services, you can skip Step 4 entirely.)

Flat Pack/Unpack (Red): Select this option if you would like to charge your flat packing/unpacking rates for this customer.

Hourly Pack/Unpack (Green): Select this option if you would like to charge your hourly packing/unpacking rates for this customer.

Item & Total QTY (Yellow): This section will list the packing materials added on Step 2, or 3, and the total quantity you will be providing.

Pack QTY (Pink): This is the number of items from the left (Yellow) that you will be charging pack labor for. For Flat Pack Quotes, this'll increase the charge based on the Pack Quantity. For Hourly Pack Quotes, this'll increase the total estimated pack time based on the total Pack Quantity.

Unpack QTY (Brown): This is the number of items from the left (Yellow) that you will be charging unpack labor for. For Flat Pack Quotes, this'll increase the charge based on the Unpack Quantity. For Hourly Pack Quotes, this'll increase the total estimated pack time based on the total Unpack Quantity.

Next, you'd continue on to Step 6 of the estimate:

Packing Materials & Services (Purple): These will be automatically selected if packing materials & services are added to the estimate on their respective step.

Packing Service Section (Green): This section has been enlarged for a better view below.

Packing Materials (Black): The listed total cost of the packing materials that you've selected on either Step 2 or 3.

Packing Crew Size (Yellow): This is your packing crew size. Note: This will typically default to the same crew size as the moving crew.

Packing Hourly Rate (Red): This is your hourly pack labor rate. This will only appear if you selected "Hourly Pack/Unpack" on Step 4.

Packing Hours (Blue): These are the estimated packing hours, calculated by your "pack/unpack time" on the packing materials page -- referenced earlier in this article.

Packing Fee (Green): This will show the packing fee total. This will either be based on the estimated Pack Hours (if you selected Hourly Pack), or the number in the Pack/Unpack Qty columns on Step 4 (if you selected Flat Pack).
