In addition to the suite of automated emails that can be created to send out messages whenever certain actions are taken within the system, you can also send customized, manual emails out to clients through your system. Once the basic info is set, you would just need to compose the email and send it out to the client. Note: This can be done for each branch in your system, so each one can have their own setup for custom emails.
Setting up the Template for Manual Emails
To get to the section where we'll be able to update the necessary info to begin sending out those manual emails, we'll need to go to Manage -> Communications -> Custom Mail.
Updating your template
Once you navigate using the steps above, you'll be taken to the page shown below.
Header
To start, you'll want to upload a header. Much like the automated emails, this'll appear at the top of the emails that get sent out to your clients; we highly suggest your headers be 750 pixels x 228 pixels in size. If you have purchased a header from MoveitPro, you are welcome to request another copy to upload and we will be happy to send you another.
Body Content
Here you can upload PDFs of any documents that you would like to send out with every manual email that you create.
Footer
In this section, you would put the information about your company, or branch (contact info & address) as well as any additional text that you would like to be added to all of your custom emails.

Swapping Between Branches
As mentioned above, each branch in your system can have it's own setup for manual emails. To easily swap between branches, you would just need to use the button at the top right of the page, shown below.
Sending an Email
Now that the template(s) is(are) set we can now send manual emails out to clients. There are a couple of different spots where we can send out these emails. Both areas are detailed below:
Customer's Account Data
The first way to access the custom email option is to go to their profile in your MoveitPro system. This can be done in a variety of ways, but the most common is using the Search Bar at the top of your system. Once on the Account Data for your desired recipient, you go to the Email tab, as shown below.
Using the Compose New Email button, you'll be able to compose the custom email for that client. Note: When using the button above, you'll be able to choose which email inboxes are going to receive your message - if there's multiple people listed on the customer profile.
On the Customer's Estimate
Starting as early as Step 1 on the Estimate, you can click the client's email, highlighted in blue, to start creating a manual email. Note: If there's multiple people listed on the profile for that customer, when you click on the email that you'd like to send your message to, it'll only send to the selected inbox.
Composing the Email
Once you've used either option to compose the manual email, you'll see similar to the following. Note: If you haven't gone through the DNS process with us here at MoveitPro, the "From" will be the standard no-reply email that we provide so that your emails can at least be sent out until that process is finished.
To and Subject Lines
When you pull up the composition pop-up, you can select which estimate you would like to reference in case you need to send them a link to their estimate or anything that involves it. You can also set the subject of the email.
Text Body
In the Text Box you can edit the body of the email and have access to all of the tools you need to customize the body text.
Short Codes
Additionally, you'll have access to short codes which you can use to attach links for your customers.
Sending the Email
Once your email is finished, you'll just need to press Send email.
